It is an epoxy-polyamide resin-based, two-component, anticorrosive and high-adhesion intermediate coat primer. It provides long-term resistance and protection to the system.

It should be cleaned so that oil, dirt, old paint, rust and rolling mill residues are left on the surface. Sandblasting at (Sa 21/2) grade is recommended for surface cleaning. Famous Epoxy Intermediate Primer (842-7701) can be applied with a brush, roller, air or airless gun. Thinner is not required for applications with an airless gun. Between coats, a break of at least 6-8 hours should be given. If this period exceeds 48 hours, the surface must be sanded.
