APEL High-Temperature Silicone

APEL GM 700 RTV Silicone is intended for bonding, insulation, sealing, and repair works where high heat resistance is required. 

Place of use

  • It is used in sealing and bonding processes in automobiles and other vehicles, especially in engine parts; 
  • It is used for sealing purposes in heating systems; 
  • It can be easily used in sealing stoves, heating devices, pumps and motors, chimneys, hot water boilers, electrical household appliances, and applications where high heat resistance is required;

Technical information

  • It is resistant to 250°C when exposed to continuous heat, and up to 300°C for instant exposure; 
  • It is a solvent-free 100% silicone material; 
  • The acetoxy system cures, and when cured, a flexible silicone seal is formed; 
  • It has high strength and shows fast curing properties; 
  • It is highly resistant to physical stresses after curing and does not lose its flexibility between -40°C and +250°C; 
  • It does not lose volume and become brittle. It doesn't crack; 
  • It is single-component and does not require any binder; 
  • It is red in color;
