Universal 1K Primer (usually 20-22 seconds/DIN CUP 4/20°C) thinned to the appropriate viscosity in spray applications is applied to the cleaned surfaces in 2-3 layers. To obtain sufficient film thickness in the dipping application, this process must be repeated twice, waiting 5-10 minutes in between. The product can be applied by both a brush and a roller. No foam formation is observed. Universal 1K Primer does not need to be sanded as it gives a smooth and hard film.
