It is an air drying, urethane alkyd based mono component wood varnish. It is a matt varnish which is tough and elastic. It has excellent durability to outdoor conditions. It is resistant to water and household chemicals.
It is applied on wooden parts of watercraft,shutter, paneling, pergola and other wooden parts of the building such as doors and windows directly or preferably on the surface that ÜNLÜ WOOD PROTECTOR (113-SERIES) is applied.
Raw wooden parquet surfaces must be clean and dry prior to application to the surface. To protect or/and to color the wood, ÜNLÜ WOOD PROTECTOR (113-SERIES) can be used against the wood pests before the application of ÜNLÜ YACHT VARNISH (125-SERIES). ÜNLÜ YACHT VARNISH (125-SERIES) should be applied with brush as at least three coats with 24-hour intervals. Between each coat it should be sanded slightly. Fisrt coat is applied by diluting the product with synthetic thinner at dilution ratio of 10-15 % for the penetration of yacht varnish to wooden surface. After application, brush and roller cleaning can be done with Synthetic Thinner (911-0111).
