It is a waterbased water dilutable primer which shows the texture of wood has very good adherence and elasticity. It has excellent endurance to outdoor conditions and resistant to fungi, mold and algae growth.
It is formulated for use on exterior wooden surfaces such as doors, windows, pergola, garden furnitures. It provides high adherence to the old painted exterior surfaces.
Wooden surfaces to be treated must be clean,free of oil and other residues which are non-carriers.If the wood that is used is resinous the surface should be wiped with a piece of cloth using NC thinner.
Brush, roller or spray application can be done. Raw wooden surfaces, or completely scraped old paint surfaces have to be impregnated by ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED WOOD PROTECTOR (545-SERIES) before the application of ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR PRIMER;WHITE (532-1000); ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR SEMI MATT WOOD PAINT (531-1002) is applied 24 after the application of ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR WOOD PRIMER (532-1000). Before starting the painting process ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR WOOD PRIMER (532-1000) must be sanded slightly with sandpaper No.600-800 For brush application, the dilution ratio with tap water is 5-10 % and for spray application, it is about 20-25 %.
