It is a two component, polyurethane based, reaction curing primer. POLYURETHANE SPECIAL PRIMER (232-SERIES) has high filling property. It brings in elastic film to wooden surfaces. It is easily sanded and makes the surface ready for topcoat application.
POLYURETHANE SPECIAL PRIMER (232-SERIES) is formulated as primer for internal use on solid wood and MDF with the purpose of decoration. It allows NC, polyurethane and acrylic pigmented topcoats to be applied on it.

Prior to application, wooden surfaces must be free of dust after proper sanding. The product should be mixed with hardener and diluted with NC super thinner (961-0631) to application viscosity. Depending on the desired surface, two/three cross coats should be applied with 15-20 minutes drying time intervals. 3-4 hours/20°C after the POLYURETHANE SPECIAL PRIMER (232-SERIES) application; the surface must be first sanded with sandpaper grid no:220 and the with sandpaper grid no:400 to prepare the surface for pigmented topcoat application.
