Epoxy Floor Varnish penetrates the cracks and pores on wooden and concrete surfaces very well and creates a very solid base for paint systems to be applied. It is applied to all kinds of wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. Furthermore, the product is used to protect metal surfaces against corrosive effects, provide waterproofing in the underground parts of structures and pools, and prevent water absorption of chipboard and wood.

Epoxy floor impregnation varnish comes to a suitable viscosity for roller and brush applications after it is thoroughly mixed in the specified proportions. Product thinning is not required. However, impregnation and saturation of cracks and pores on concrete and wooden surfaces with varnish will increase the better adhesion and chemical resistance of future paint systems. For this reason, it is recommended to thin (by 8-10%) the first layer with ÜNLÜ Epoxy Thinner. This product must be brought to the viscosity stage with a thinner recommended for spray application. Wooden surfaces must be dry and thoroughly sanded before application. Concrete surfaces must be clean and dry. Before the application, old paint residues, oil, dirt, and dust on the surface should be cleaned, loose surfaces should be removed by scraping, grinding, and vacuuming. If the concrete is new, it must have completed the set period of 21 days per day. On concrete surfaces, a total of two coats must be applied, the first layer being thinned and the second layer undiluted. Metal surfaces must be free of oil, grease, and dirt, sand, rust, and rolling crusts must be thoroughly removed. The moisture content of the concrete should not be more than 4%. Application at temperatures below 10°C is not recommended.
