ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR WOOD VARNISH (535-SERIES), which is an acrylic based product is specially formulated for use on exterior wooden surfaces such as doors, window frames, pergolas, wooden garden furnitures etc. is excellent in terms of human and environmental health. It provides protection to wood against all external influences. It prevents the growth of mold, mildew and fungus. ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR WOOD VARNISH (535-SERIES) is fortified with UV absorbers in its structure that's why it protects wood from the harmful rays of the sun. It prevents the fraying of wood against the abrasive effects of rain, snow, wind and salt. Due to its tixotropic structure it can be easily applied on vertical surfaces without sagging.
ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR WOOD VARNISH (535-SERIES) is formulated to be used on exterior wood surfaces such as doors, window frames, pergolas and garden furnitures. It can be applied on vertical surfaces easily without sagging due to its thixotropic property. There is no sag even in the thick applications.
The previously applied paint or varnish on the surface should be well sanded by sandpaper or stripped with Ünlü paint remover. Before the application, surface should be cleaned of dust and dirt and then the surface is wiped with NC Thinner to make it ready for application.To use ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED WOOD PROTECTIVE (545-SERIES) on raw wooden surfaces for the protection of the surfaces from mold, mildew and fungus will be increasing the efficiency of the ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR WOOD VARNISH (535-SERIES). Product is ready to use in its packaging. But if desired product can be diluted with % 5-10 tap water. It must be applied after 3-4 hours of application of ÜNLÜ PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED WOOD PROTECTIVE (545-SERIES). It is applied as min. two coats but if required (iroko, oak, chestnut, mahogany, are deep porous woods) it can be applied as min. 3 coats with brush, air or airless sprey gun. Leave 3-4 hours between each coat and sand it with sandpaper no:600-800. One of the most important issue to get high performance with PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED EXTERIOR VARNISH system is to apply the neccessary amount of paint onto the surface of wooden surfaces (300-350 gr/m²).
