PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED TEAK OIL (595-9050) is specially formulated waterbased product used for oily and hard woods (such as teak, mahogany, iroko and rosewood) which are used at external conditions. It has excellent water and uv resistance.It provides protection against harmful factors for wood such as fungi, molds and insects therefore prolonges the life of wood. It can be easily absorbed by the wood and allows wood to breath. It preserves the natural appearence of the wood without changing its decorative features.
It can be used on all exterior surfaces which are in contact with water such as ship decks, garden furniture, especially for swimming pool decks and stairs safely.
Before the application, surface must be cleaned of dust, dirt and residue of paint/varnish.Then the surface is sanded slightly and wiped with a damped cloth. Excessive amount of natural oils has to be wiped with NC thinner before the application of PROTECT AQUA WATERBASED TEAK OIL (595-9050) on to woods such as Teak, Iroko etc. After cleaning process evaporation of thinner should be waited. Product in its package has to be mixed before use. Application must be done in equal amount towards the wood grains grainto get homogeneous appearance. Excessive amount must be taken away with a piece of cloth. Care should be taken not to get thick film. If The wood is exposed to severe weather conditions; second coat may be applied. The surface is sanded after 24 hours and second coat is applied.
